Welcome to the GLBT History Museum of Central Florida

E-mail Print PDF

Welcome to the GLBT History Museum of Central Florida, Inc.! We are both a virtual and a mobile musueum. You are now visiting the virtual museum. We hope you enjoy your visit .

The GLBT Museum of Central Florida was formed to collect, archive and share the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender history of Central Florida. Here you will find a historical timeline, memorials, and photographs of our history. All material archived on these pages are public domain and available to all.

None of this would be possible without the support of the board members of GLBT History Museum of Central Florida, Museum volunteers, the Metropolitan Business Association, Come Out With Pride, and Darden.

Local GLBT Publications Needed

Image If you were a member of the Loving Committee Network (LCN) during the eighties, you may be in possession of artifacts that we could use. Our collection of LCN Express is limited to just one issue. If you have any issues of the LCN Express, please let us know. We especially are looking for the covers of all issues.

Also, we have recently completed the inventory/documentation of our collection of Center Fold and Triangle Newspapers.  Missing from our archives are Center Fold issues from January 1989-April 1989 and September 1989 - December 1990.  Please check your collections and let us know if you have any of these issues.

Finally, all other local GLBT newsletters and papers are sought for inclusion in the Museum's collection.

NOTE: We will be happy to scan your newspapers, or you can send the scanned images to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
